Research
clearly shows that early intervention is critical in helping children
overcome various learning, behavioral, and overall developmental difficulties.
Early intervention services are critical in helping children reach their
full potential. The earlier therapy is provided, the more progress the
child will make and have a greater chance to overcome his/her difficulties.
Whether your child shows potential developmental
difficulties or has already been identified with a specific diagnosis,
our approach can help boost your child development and develop crucial
skills. Our goal is to help prevent or decrease the need for special
services later in the child's life.
We have developed special individualized
therapy programs for infants and toddlers. Through individualized therapy
and parent training, we aim to minimize behavior difficulties, improve
learning, develop interaction, play and social skills, build self confidence,
and maximize well being.
Our approach is fun, practical, and play
based. Each program is completely individualized for each child and
family. Parent education and involvement is a key part of our approach.
All of our services are provided by licensed occupational therapists
trained in sensory motor, sensory processing, and sensory integration
approaches.
