Getting Started

Understanding why a child is struggling at home, school, or socially, is a complex task that we take very seriously. It is our professional responsibility to assess all areas of suspected difficulties and disabilities that fall within the scope of the occupational therapy profession. Each assessment is carefully individualized to ensure that we identify all factors potentially contributing to your child's difficulties.

Our assessments will allow you to clearly determine if your child's difficulties in the home, school, and socially are related to difficulties with sensory processing and sensory motor skills.

Our recommendations may include a variety of approaches for the home or the school including sensory diets, additional assessments and therapies from other disciplines, or occupational therapy consultation and treatment

We are always concerned with using our time in the most cost-effective manner. We will always discuss our recommendations with you and help you prioritize your concerns.
